About Alex
Alex has more than 20 years of experience working in financial advisory businesses.
He began his career as an administrator for an IFA and enjoyed completing his exams. He holds a Diploma in Financial Services, as well as specialist exams in paraplanning, supervision, and risk management.
Alex joined Astute in 2022. As strategy, risk, and operations director, Alex is responsible for managing the implementation of the firm’s strategic objectives and overseeing the management of the firm’s staff, offices, and processes.
Alex loves helping to create a successful, client-focused business and enjoys the variety and problem-solving that his role presents.
Outside of work, Alex is an avid Formula 1 fan. When not watching the races, he’s usually walking the dog with his wife, Nicola, and ferrying their two children about. He occasionally attempts DIY, with varying degrees of success…
