About Karen
Karen has worked in financial services for more than 25 years. She worked as an adviser for eight years, and then moved into compliance.
At Astute, Karen’s day-to-day role involves ensuring the firm remains compliant with all aspects of Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulation.
She is responsible for implementing effective monitoring and controls, and ensuring clients’ best interests are served at all times through the provision of first-class financial planning.
Karen enjoys the variety and collaborative nature of compliance, and working with many members of the business to develop best practice at Astute.
Outside of work, Karen is most happy being a mum. She loves to socialise with family and friends.
Her hobbies include running, Pilates, and singing in a choir.
