About Neil

Neil has worked within financial services since 1989, spending 21 successful years with Lloyds Bank before becoming an independent financial adviser.

Neil’s career with the bank enabled him to fulfil several adviser roles before moving to compliance and risk management, and then sales management. Neil now heads the risk and compliance team at Astute while also advising as a Chartered financial planner.

Neil is passionate about creating long-term and lasting client relationships, helping to guide his clients through life’s financial journey and delivering on their many aspirations, goals, and objectives.

Neil specialises in pension and investment advice, and is a big advocate of cashflow planning, putting together and agreeing individually tailored plans for each of his clients.

His proudest moment to date is setting up Astute back in 2010 with two ex-bank colleagues, and growing the business to where it is today.

Neil is married to Lisa with two beautiful daughters. As an enthusiastic sportsman, Neil loves playing and watching football, and also plays the odd game of golf.

Neil has also become a keen cyclist, raising money for various local causes. His biggest achievement on two wheels was raising money for the British Heart Foundation by cycling 295 miles over four days from London to Paris.
